Lenny Kravitz & The Soul Of America
In the wake of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, Lenny left recording studios in the Bahamas, where he was working on his new record, to participate in the Gulf Aid concert and help in any way he can. In a recent interview with CBS’s Betty Nguyen, Lenny Kravitz talks about his music, his efforts to support our planet and the city he is so fond of, New Orleans.
Just when it seemed like New Orleans had regained its spirit following the devastating Hurricane Katrina, the oil spill happens. “I care about this planet, I care about nature, I care about the ecosystem,” proclaims Lenny, “I believe God gave us a beautiful world and it saddens me when this happens.”
